Qualification

GRESTEL 2020 – Expansion, Operational Efficiency, Own Brands, and Eco-efficiency

The objective of the Qualification project is to strengthen Grestel’s competitiveness, positioning the company as a reference player at the global level, supported by additional investment measures in Innovation and Internationalization.

This project complements the creation of a new, innovative facility (Grestel III) focused on operational efficiency and eco-efficiency, as well as increasing capacity through the operational optimization of Grestel II, in response to the company’s need to meet growing international demand for its products (eliminating the recurring need for subcontracted production) and to support the investment in proprietary brands.

Through this initiative, the company aims to ensure business sustainability in the face of external threats and over-reliance on private label activity, while leveraging market opportunities supported by recent successful R&D activities, notably the Color Grés, +ECOGrés, INDUCER, and Vidrado X projects, which drive innovation in both products and processes.

The project seeks to strengthen Grestel’s organizational and management capabilities, including investment in the development of strategic and competitive management skills, modern distribution and logistics systems, the use of information and communication technologies, and a deeper presence in the digital economy/web.

The goal is the specific qualification of assets in areas relevant to Grestel’s innovation, internationalization, and modernization strategy, with the aim of consolidating existing markets, increasing sales, creating visibility in foreign markets, and ultimately conquering new markets.
